A glimpse of what PAL is about

Since 1997, San Mateo PAL has provided recreational, educational, and leisure activities for free to thousands of San Mateo youth.  Supported by a volunteer Board of Directors and staff consisting of Police Officers, Parks and Recreation Staff, and City Employees, the San Mateo Police Activities League is building a stronger and safer community through kids - our most valuable asset.

🎃👻 Happy Halloween!! 👻🎃

Be safe, have fun, and don't forget to look both ways before the crossing the street while Trick-Or-Treating!

Today’s Dia de los Muertos event was a beautiful way to celebrate community and to remember loved ones and honor their memory.

The sunny day and the colorful imagery made for an amazing backdrop to receive a proclamation presented to both PAL and the City of San Mateo Parks and ...Recreation from State Senator Josh Becker’s office, recognizing the impact our Latin community has on our city.

If the day wasn’t great enough, we also celebrated our own San Mateo Police Department Youth Services Officer Adle’s birthday!

A good day all around we’d say.

Visit our San Mateo Police Department officers this Saturday (10/7) for the 🎀 Pink Patch Party on B St from 11-4pm and then visit us at our Dia de Los Muertos event the following Saturday (10/14) at the King Center.

October is full of amazing events! We hope to see you at all of them!

🏀🏈⚾️🎾 It was another sports filled day at Hillsdale Shopping Center’s Safety & Wellness Day. We are big supporters of both and encourage families to get out and do something fun together.

While this was our last event at the mall for the summer, be sure to follow for ...more opportunities to Build the Bond Between Cops & Kids with us!
