Your Impact

For the last 20 years, we have relied on a vast network of supporters for priceless guidance and crucial investments in our shared mission of building a safer community, while promoting the physical, social and psychological development of our youth.

We invite you to open your heart and to be the person who makes a positive impact in this community by supporting us in developing our youth into productive citizens.

However you choose to give, you inspire San Mateo Police Activities League to continue adapting and providing important and meaningful services to meet the needs of our community.

Ways to Donate

Over the years, thousands of individuals, foundations, and corporations have invested in our shared mission of creating a safer community and keeping our kids on track, in school and out of gangs, jail and away from other troubled behaviors.

San Mateo PAL serves more than 800 children annually and relies on community support to provide hope & help to those youth and their families.

Donate online, or mail a check to 200 Franklin Parkway, San Mateo, CA  94403.

There are many ways to donate beyond the traditional financial giving. The San Mateo Police Activities League welcomes community generosity to help support our organization and the PAL kids we serve. Your donations of goods, services and expertise truly make a difference and give our youth the opportunity to experience life changing programs in a safe and supervised environment.

Donation guidelines and questions? We’ll be happy to discuss creative giving options that offer the greatest impact to our PAL kids and meet your philanthropic goals.

Donating publicly traded stock provides better tax benefits than a traditional donation. If you have held your stock for more than one year, your charitable income tax deduction is equal to the fair market value of the stock, not its cost basis, and you avoid paying capital gains tax on any increase in the current value over the original cost of the stock. With your support, we can make our vision a reality and create a stronger and safer community through our kids!

To make a gift of stocks or securities, please complete and submit our printable securities transfer form to Jenna Nguyen at or fax (650) 522-7551.

For more information about benefits in your particular case, please contact your tax advisor.
