PAL Annual Golf Tournament - Sponsorships Available Now!

n

Join us on Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Half Moon Bay Golf Links golf course for our annual golf tournament. Just like last year, we will have a full day of golf along the beautiful coast on both the Old and Ocean courses, food and refreshments, exclusive tee prizes, and an unforgettable reception to close out the day.

Sponsorships are available NOW and becoming a sponsor means that you not only secure a guaranteed spot in our tournament before ticket sales open to the general public, but that you also get to support your local community by raising funds for our youth development programs. This unique event is a fantastic way to impact the lives of our PAL kids while engaging in friendly competition amongst your peers.

This is one of our most popular charity events and is guaranteed to sell out! Ticket sales for individual golfers and foursomes will be available starting August 7th. You won't want to miss this opportunity to help out your local community while putting your golf skills to the test.

Become a sponsor and secure your spot in our tournament now!

Meet Our Staff

Cynthia Rivera & Natalie Martin

This month we are doing things a little differently. Instead of introducing a new staff member, we are bidding farewell to two of our amazing PAL staff who have dedicated their time and efforts to PAL over the last year.

Cynthia Rivera will be leaving at the end of the summer to pursue her Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Clarkson University. Natalie Martin will also be leaving at the end of the month to begin her training for the police academy. She will be joining the San Mateo Police Department upon completion of her training.

We are sad to see these two incredible young women leave, but are so excited for them as they embark on their new adventures!! We could not be more proud of them.

Hi! My name is Cynthia and I have been working with PAL for almost a year. I coached PAL's soccer program, co-taught our cooking programs with Natalie, and assisted Gladys with the Ballet Folklorico program. I am currently involved in outreach events, Jr. Giants, and our awesome summer field trips!

A fun fact about myself is that I play/coach soccer, and I play both the trumpet and guitar! Hopefully PAL will be able to teach music classes in the future!

Hi everyone! I help lead some of our programs, including our cooking classes and summer field trips, and will occasionally teach yoga at our wellness events. I also assist Lisa Tartaglia, Fund Development Director, with donor events, sponsorships, and donation requests.

I have been with PAL for almost a year and have loved every minute! My favorite field trip with PAL is the overnight white water rafting trip during the summer.

Thank you Cynthia and Natalie for all of your hard work with the PAL program. You both have made a huge difference in the lives of our local youth and your presence will surely be missed. We look forward to having Cynthia return to PAL in the future and Natalie return as an SMPD Officer. Best of luck in your future endeavors!
