Coat Drive @ Borel Middle School

Late last month, Sergeant Tracey Unga and members of the PAL team spent the afternoon at Borel Middle School distributing new, warm coats to students in need. After the final school bell rang, many smiling faces filled the library, excited to choose from a variety of colors and sizes. A heartfelt thank you to the Mayer family for their generous coat donation, and to Deborah with Hearts for Humanity for her support in facilitating and distributing the coats.

Driving for Dreams @ Topgolf

Our second annual Driving For Dreams event took place last Thursday at TopGolf in Burlingame, raising nearly $6,000 in support of PAL college scholarships. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us on a beautiful winter evening for great food, fun, and “fore!” Special thanks to our event sponsors, AMR, Ed and Jackie Barberini and the Garg family, for their generous support.

Rookies Corner

What's San Mateo's Finest Therapy K-9 up to?

Rookie is PAL's Therapy K9. Under the care and watch of Youth Services Officer Allison Adle, Rookie's duties include comforting victims and witnesses of crime, reducing trauma, increasing wellness, and participating in community outreach, particularly involving our youth.
